Golden hour in the Barley Field in Hertfordshire.

This field is so incredible special. The light at golden hour is soft and gentle and simply is offer . The light casts some stunning golden light over your family.

The Taylor Family contacted me about capturing some updated family photographs with their children a month ago. Mum really loved the idea of the barley fields and really wanted to try golden hour.

So one Friday night at the end of June we made some memories and captured some magic ✨

But I’ll be honest, this session started off tricky, the eldest son was suffering from hay fever (and it was pretty bad 🥲) after a little chat with me we decided he could play a few running races and wanted to play some games with me. Phew! He was a such a team player and got stuck in with the fun.

Plus the chocolate biscuits I had brought for the end of the shoot were a big hit!

I think the last image might be my favorite. I am considering printing it as a sample piece.
